In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Kaplan Pirates baseball team scored a nice 14-0 win over the David Thibodaux Bulldogs.
The Pirates (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Catholic - N.I. knocked off Loreauville (Loreauville, LA), 3-0, in a league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 game, on Thursday, March 13. David Thibodaux will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 4-9 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Opelousas (Opelousas, LA).
