California High School Baseball - Fountain Valley holds off Lakewood

In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Fountain Valley Barons baseball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Lakewood Lancers.
The Barons (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA). The Oilers go into the Sunset game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Huntington Beach nudged Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA), 8-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Lancers play the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 15. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Glendora (Glendora, CA).
