California High School Baseball - McLane loses to Sierra

March 11, 2025: Tollhouse, CA 93667

Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), 8-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Sierra advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Coalinga (Coalinga, CA) to battle the Horned Toads in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 12. The Horned Toads come into the match with a record of 3-1. Coalinga won 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA)

The Highlanders now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a North Yosemite match on Friday, March 14. McLane will battle a Rough Riders squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Kings Christian (Lemoore, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 7-1.
