The Zuni Thunderbirds baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host Navajo Pine Warriors to 4 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hatch Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20.
With the defeat, Navajo Pine drops to 0-1 on the year. The Warriors host Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to play the Mavericks in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
