The New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Nazareth Swifts (Nazareth, TX), 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lockney for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. New Deal will clash with a Longhorns team coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Springlake-Earth (Earth, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Nazareth drops to 6-1 on the year. The Swifts host Abernathy (Abernathy, TX) to clash with the Antelopes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Antelopes go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Abernathy won 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Christoval (Christoval, TX)
