Kentucky High School Volleyball - Sayre overwhelmed by Western Hills

Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Western Hills improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to face the Commodores in a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. The Commodores go into the test with a record of 0-2. Tates Creek lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)

The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frederick Douglass for a non-league test on Monday, March 17. Sayre will face a Broncos squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Broncos record now stands at 0-2.
