The Cannon Cougars lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Ravenscroft Ravens to 5 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Community School of Davidson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 13. Cannon will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Ravenscroft falls to 0-3 on the year. The Ravens host St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Saints in a Freelance challenge on Thursday, March 13. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. St. Mary's won 22-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC)
