The Page Pirates edged the visiting Bishop McGuinness Villains soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Pirates face the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 12. Page will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-3 non-league Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).
The Villains (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Northern Guilford held off Williams (Burlington, NC), 7-2, in a non-league game.
