In Tuesday's league contest, the Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) soccer team edged the host Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA), by a count of 3-2.
Next, the Rebels battle the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a 3A Region 3 contest, on Thursday, March 13. Groves will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Tide enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 5-2 league win over Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA).
The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson (Savannah, GA). The Atomsmashers enter the 3A Region 3 contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Johnson was nipped by Hardeeville (Hardeeville, SC), 5-1, in a non-league contest.
