The Weatherford Eagles smashed the visiting Putnam City Pirates soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Douglass Trojans (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 4A District 2 game, on Tuesday, March 25. Weatherford will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Yukon (Yukon, OK). The Millers come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Yukon edged Putnam City North (Oklahoma City, OK), 4-1, in a non-league game.
