The Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) baseball trounced the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 18-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Mountain for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21.
With the defeat, West Mesa drops to 1-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
