The De La Salle Spartans baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host St. Mary's Rams to 2 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.
The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. De La Salle will clash with a Lions team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Livermore (Livermore, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, St. Mary's drops to 4-3 on the year. The Rams host West (Tracy, CA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a test on Monday, March 24. The Wolfpack go into the test with a record of 8-1. West lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Freedom (Oakley, CA)
