The Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) baseball trounced the host Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA), 16-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Scots now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Taft for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12. Highland will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 18-1 non-league loss to Independence (Bakersfield, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Edison drops to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Immanuel (Reedley, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
