North Carolina High School Baseball - Heritage nips Holly Springs

The Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) baseball got by the host Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host East Wake Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. Heritage will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Holly Springs drops to 2-3 on the year. The Golden hawks travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 13. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Green Hope won 22-2 in their recent non-league challenge against East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC)
