The Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) baseball trounced the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC), 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central Cabarrus for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. Lake Norman Charter will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus drops to 0-4 on the year. The Trojans host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 14. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 4-2. West Rowan won 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
