The Lexington Wildcats soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Batesburg-Leesville Panthers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Irmo for a bout on Friday, March 14. Lexington will play a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Batesburg-Leesville moves to 1-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC) to play the Rebels in a bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
