In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Cannon Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-10 triumph over the Greensboro Day School Bengals.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Anne's-Belfield held off Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC), 21-9, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bengals clash with the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) in a NCISAA - Division II challenge, on Friday, March 14. Greensboro Day School will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Hurricanes go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
