Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) and the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), witnessed Sidwell Friends's lacrosse squad top Georgetown Day by a count of 14-2.
The Quakers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Bishop O'Connell thwarted Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA), 16-5, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Mighty Hoppers meet the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 18. Georgetown Day will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
