Florida High School Lacrosse - Merritt Island overwhelms Lyman

March 11, 2025: Merritt Island, FL 32953

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) and the visiting Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL), witnessed Merritt Island's lacrosse squad top Lyman by a score of 12-2.

The Mustangs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Edgewood (Merritt Island, FL). The Red Wolves enter the 1A D7 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Edgewood was overwhelmed by West Shore (Melbourne, FL), 11-7, in a league contest.

Next, the Greyhounds meet the Lake Howell Silverhawks (Winter Park, FL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 12. Lyman will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Silverhawks enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Lake Buena Vista (Orlando, FL).
