Georgia High School Lacrosse - Oconee County sneaks past St. Pius X Catholic

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Oconee County Warriors lacrosse team scored a close 9-8 victory over the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions.
With the victory, Oconee County advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Warriors host Seckinger (Buford, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a 2A Area 8 battle on Friday, March 14. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 2-4. Seckinger won 17-11 in their recent league battle against Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA)
The Golden Lions now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greater Atlanta Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. St. Pius X Catholic will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-2.
