The Homewood Patriots soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Crossville Lions to 2 in the Patriots non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Patriots now hold a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Minor for a 6A Area 9 bout on Wednesday, March 12.
With the loss, Crossville moves to 4-3 on the year. The Lions host Fultondale (Birmingham, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Fultondale lost 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)
