Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host West Field Longhorns (Taylor, UT), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Layton moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Ogden (Ogden, UT) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 14. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Ogden won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against West (Salt Lake City, UT)

The Longhorns now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weber for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. West Field will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 3-0.
