Georgia High School Soccer - Salem toppled by Monroe Area

The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes smashed the host Salem Seminoles soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Purple Hurricanes clash with the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) in a 3A Area 8 game, on Friday, March 14. Monroe Area will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Bears come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA).
The Seminoles (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Wolverines come into the 2A Area 6 game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Miller Grove defeated Columbia (Decatur, GA), 7-3, in a league game.
