The Kaplan Pirates (Kaplan, LA) softball routed the visiting Abbeville Wildcats (Abbeville, LA), 16-0 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy for a 2A District 8 outing on Thursday, March 13.
With the loss, Abbeville moves to 2-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Erath (Erath, LA) to encounter the Bobcats in a 3A District 5 battle on Thursday, March 13. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 1-8.
