The Brighton Bengals the visiting Corner Canyon Chargers softball squad by a count of 7-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Bengals meet the Skyline Eagles (Salt Lake City, UT) in a 5A Region 6 challenge, on Wednesday, March 12. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Ogden (Ogden, UT).

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT). The Soaring Eagle enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Juan Diego Catholic edged Union (Roosevelt, UT), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
