The Troy Trojans softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Chaparral Bobcats to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West for a 3A Region III District 17 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Troy will confront a Trojans team coming off a 20-6 non-league win over Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Chaparral moves to 6-7 on the season. The Bobcats travel to West (West, TX) to confront the Trojans in a non-league battle on Friday, March 14. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 8-10. West won 16-1 in their recent non-league battle against La Vega (Waco, TX)
