The Chipley Tigers overwhelmed the visiting Graceville Tigers softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Vernon Yellowjackets (Vernon, FL) in a 1A District 2 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Chipley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 21-11 non-league loss to Freeport (Freeport, FL).
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sneads (Sneads, FL). The Pirates go into the 1A District 3 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Sneads was routed by Wewahitchka (Wewahitchka, FL), 13-0, in a non-league match.
