The Smyrna Bulldogs got by the visiting Eagleville Eagles softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Cookeville Cavaliers (Cookeville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Smyrna will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Cavaliers go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Clay County (Celina, TN).
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN). The Blaze go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Blackman held off Cascade (Wartrace, TN), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
