California High School Softball - Summerville sneaks past Escalon

March 11, 2025: Tuolumne, CA 95379

The Summerville Bears softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Escalon Cougars to 9 in the Bears non-league win on Tuesday.

The Bears now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calaveras for a Mother Lode League battle on Friday, March 21. Summerville will confront a Red Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Escalon moves to 3-6 on the season. The Cougars host Hughson (Hughson, CA) to confront the Huskies in a Trans Valley League battle on Thursday, March 13. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Hughson won 14-13 in their recent non-league battle against Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA)
