California High School Softball - Valley Christian edges Long Beach Poly

The Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) softball the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA), 9-7 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Defenders now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crescenta Valley for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 12. Valley Christian will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over North (Torrance, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Long Beach Poly moves to 2-2 on the season. The Jackrabbits travel to Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA) to encounter the Jaguars in a Moore outing on Thursday, March 13. The Jaguars come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Cabrillo lost 16-7 in their recent non-league outing against Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA)
