The New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) softball the visiting Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS), 8-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Trojans now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Point for a 5A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, March 18.
With the loss, Picayune moves to 7-7 on the season. The Maroon tide travel to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to confront the Hurricanes in a 6A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a record of 1-9.
