Mississippi High School Softball - South Panola edges Ocean Springs

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS) and the visiting Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS), observed South Panola's softball team get by Ocean Springs by a final score of 7-5.
The Tigers (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 1 bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Center Hill tipped Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS), 20-7, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Ocean Springs will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Baker (Mobile, AL).
