The Southside Panthers softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Oxford Yellow Jackets to 6 in the Panthers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gadsden City for a 6A Area 14 battle on Wednesday, March 12. Southside will encounter a Titans team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Titans record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Oxford moves to 4-7 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, AL) to encounter the Golden Bears in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 12. The Golden Bears come into the battle with a record of 12-4. Lincoln won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL)
