The Loris Lions triumphed over the visiting Marion Swamp Foxes baseball squad by a score of 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lions now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mullins for a non-league test on Thursday, March 12. Loris will play a Auctioneers team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Loris (Loris, SC). The Auctioneers record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Marion drops to 1-2 on the year. The Swamp foxes travel to Kingstree (Kingstree, SC) to play the Blazers in a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, March 13. The Blazers go into the test with a record of 2-3. Kingstree lost 26-10 in their recent non-league test against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC)
