The Clovis Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Moriarty Pintos to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Lovington was overwhelmed by Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 10-4, in a non-league match.
The Pintos (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Sandia Prep ran past Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 9-1, in a non-league match.
