The Cross Roads Bobcats crushed the host Itasca Wampus Cats baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bobcats now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frankston for a 2A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, March 15. Cross Roads will face a Indians team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
Next, the Wampus Cats face the Abbott Panthers (Abbott, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, March 15. Itasca will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record.
