The Little River Academy Bumblebees crushed the visiting Frankston Indians baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bumblebees now possess a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Salado for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 12. Little River Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over New Waverly (New Waverly, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Indians face the Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX) in a 2A Region III District 20 bout, on Tuesday, March 15. Frankston will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Itasca (Itasca, TX).
