Texas High School Baseball - Gregory-Portland loses to Needville

The Needville Bluejays crushed the host Gregory-Portland Wildcats baseball team by a count of 13-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Stafford for a 4A Region IV District 25 bout on Monday, March 14. Needville will face a Spartans team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Boling (Boling, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 3-9.
The Wildcats (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets go into the 5A Region IV District 29 game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Flour Bluff overcame Jones (Beeville, TX), 8-4, in a non-league game.
