New York High School Basketball - Mendon tipped by Amherst Central

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Amherst Central Tigers basketball team scored a tight 58-56 triumph over the Mendon Vikings.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the New Hartford Spartans (New Hartford, NY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 19. Amherst Central will attempt to move on its 23-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 23-2 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Mekeel Christian Academy (Schenectady, NY).

With the defeat, Mendon moves to 9-1 on the year.
