The Balboa Buccaneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Vanden Vikings to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Buccaneers now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vallejo for a non-league game on Saturday, March 12. Balboa will meet a Red Hawks team coming off a 3-2 league win over Kennedy (Richmond, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA). The Falcons enter the Sierra Valley Conference game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Vacaville Christian gained a win over Encina Prep (Sacramento, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
