The Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) volleyball overcame the host Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Monta Vista upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Matadors travel to Harker (San Jose, CA) to face the Eagles in a SCVAL - De Anza outing on Wednesday, March 16. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 4-4.

The Padres now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Ignatius for a WCAL outing on Tuesday, March 15. Serra will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
