North Carolina High School Soccer - Apex Friendship knocks off Currituck County

Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge, on Monday, March 14. Apex Friendship will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Catamounts enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC).
The Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Manteo for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Monday, March 14. Currituck County will confront a Redskins team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 2-2.
