Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC), 8-7 in a non-league battle.

The Cyclones now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop England for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 16. Porter-Gaud will clash with a Battling Bishops squad coming off a 22-10 non-league loss to North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 2-3.

In their next game, the Hurricanes clash with the Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 14. Cape Fear Academy will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 16-6 non-league win over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC).
