Louisiana High School Softball - St. Thomas Aquinas loses to Academy of Our Lady

The Academy of Our Lady Penguins softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons to 0 in the Penguins league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Academy of Our Lady improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Penguins travel to St. Scholastica (Covington, LA) to encounter the Doves in a 4A District 8 outing on Saturday, March 12. The Doves enter the outing with a record of 1-2. St. Scholastica lost 14-3 in their recent non-league outing against Slidell (Slidell, LA)
The Falcons (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars enter the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Pope John Paul II was routed by Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA), 12-1, in a non-league outing.
