California High School Softball - Archie Williams holds off Concord

The Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons the host Concord Minutemen softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Peregrine Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Novato (Novato, CA). The Hornets go into the Marin County battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Novato nudged University (San Francisco, CA), 5-4, in a non-league battle.

The Minutemen now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Berean Christian for a Diablo - Foothill battle on Tuesday, March 15. Concord will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
