The Iota Bulldogs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Assumption Mustangs to 5 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Iota improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 3A District 5 game on Tuesday, March 15. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-4. Ville Platte lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Mamou (Mamou, LA)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 14. Assumption will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
