Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mayfair for a Suburban challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Bellflower will battle a Monsoons squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Katella (Anaheim, CA). The Monsoons record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to battle the Mariners in a Santa Fe challenge on Tuesday, March 15. The Mariners enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. St. Monica lost 10-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)
