The Firebaugh Eagles softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Firebaugh improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to McLane (Fresno, CA) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 16. The Highlanders come into the game with a record of 4-2. McLane lost 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Orange Cove (Orange Cove, CA)

In their next game, the Rough Riders clash with the Madera South Stallions (Madera, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 15. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Stallions come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Le Grand (Le Grand, CA).
