Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL) and the host Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), witnessed McAdory's softball squad tip Pike Road by a count of 8-4.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Spain Park for a non-league match on Saturday, March 12. McAdory will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Pike Road (Pike Road, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, Pike Road moves to 6-12 on the season. The Patriots travel to Tallassee (Tallassee, AL) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Area 5 match on Wednesday, March 16. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 6-5.
