The Perry Pumas softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Orange Lutheran Lancers to 2 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Pumas travel to Marina (Huntington Beach, CA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 12. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 4-3. Marina lost 5-3 in their recent non-league battle against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ)

The Lancers now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Rosary Academy for a Trinity battle on Wednesday, March 16. Orange Lutheran will meet a Royals squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Royals record now stands at 7-3.
